Engagement Type: Migration Description: Our client is a System Integrator in search of an Oracle Cloud Migration Specialist for a remote contract opportunity. Minimum Years Experience: 8 Years 5 Key Skills Required: - 8+ years of experience in administering and Database Management with strong experience in OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) migrations - Experience in installing, configuring and managing ETL tools such as Oracle data integrator etc. - Experience with Power BI tools installing, configuring and managing analytical tools such as OBIEE, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Analytics Server. - Oracle BI experience with installing, configuring, administering the product - Experience migrating from OBIEE to OAC (Oracle Analytics Cloud) and OAS (Oracle Analytics Server). 5 Areas of Responsibility: - Identify, define, collate, document and communicate the data migration requirements/scope. - Prepare Data Migration Plans including migration risk, milestones (Toll-gates), and business sign-off details. - Take ownership of testing of all data ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) activities. - Provide technical thought leadership to define data migration strategy and solution design using ETL methodology. - Develop best practice, processes and standards for effectively carrying out data migration activities.
