Oracle Cloud Financials Lead Architect

Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Financials Lead Architect with over 10 years of hands-on experience and deep domain expertise in Oracle Financials. This consultant will play a strategic role in designing and implementing scalable financial solutions with a strong focus on Core Financials, including General Ledger, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets. The ideal candidate will also bring a high-level understanding of system integrations and the downstream impacts of architectural decisions across business functions.

5 Key Skills Required:

• Experience: 10+ years of Oracle Financials experience, with 3+ years in Oracle Cloud; prior implementation leadership across multiple full-cycle projects.
• Module Expertise: Deep hands-on expertise in Core Financials (AR/AP), as well as General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
• Architectural Vision: Strong understanding of financial processes and how system design impacts upstream/downstream data flow and integrations.
• Communication & Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Certifications & Tools: Oracle Cloud Financials certifications preferred; familiarity with PaaS, OIC, or other middleware tools a strong plus.

5 Areas of Responsibility:

• Architect End-to-End Oracle Cloud Financials Solutions: Lead the design and deployment of Oracle Cloud Financials with a focus on Core Financials, GL, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets modules.
• Stakeholder Collaboration & Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business and technical teams to define system requirements and deliver tailored financial solutions aligned with business goals.
• Integration Strategy & Oversight: Provide strategic oversight on integrations with upstream and downstream systems, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Solution Governance & Best Practices: Define and enforce best practices for configuration, customization, and deployment across Oracle Financials applications.
• Mentorship & Knowledge Transfer: Guide internal teams and junior consultants, fostering knowledge-sharing and supporting long-term operational success.
