Oracle Cloud Financials Functional Consultant

Description: We are working with a client actively seeking an experienced Oracle ERP Functional Consultant with a deep focus on Record to Report (R2R) processes. This role will play a key part in implementing, enhancing, and supporting the Oracle Cloud ERP platform, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and efficient period close cycles.

Minimum Years Experience: 8

5 Key Skills Required:

• 8+ Years of Experience with Oracle ERP (Cloud or EBS) in R2R functional roles, including configuration and support.
• Deep Functional Expertise in General Ledger (GL), Subledger Accounting (SLA), Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, and Tax modules.
• Strong Finance Domain Knowledge, including experience with period close, consolidations, revaluations, and reconciliations.
• Hands-on Reporting Skills using tools like FRS, OTBI, and Smart View.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, Engineering, or an MBA; Oracle Cloud certifications preferred.

5 Areas of Responsibility:

• Own & Optimize R2R Processes: Lead the R2R lifecycle in Oracle ERP, ensuring efficient configuration and continuous improvement of GL, Tax, CM, and FA modules.
• Implement & Configure ERP Modules: Define ledgers, currencies, reporting structures, intercompany, and consolidation processes for optimal financial operations.
• Gather & Translate Business Requirements: Collaborate with finance stakeholders to collect requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications.
• Test & Validate System Functions: Develop test scripts, conduct unit and system testing, support UAT, and ensure data integrity across journals and reconciliations.
• Ensure Compliance & Support Reporting: Create audit-compliant reports using FRS/OTBI, support SOX/GAAP/IFRS alignment, and assist in internal and external audit readiness.
