Description: Our client is seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer with experience in Operational Technology (OT), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), and IoT security to safeguard our industrial environments. This role is critical in strengthening Cyber Security operations, securing plant facilities, and protecting against cyber threats in highly segmented industrial networks.
Minimum Years Experience: 8 Years
5 Areas of Responsibility:
– Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats across OT, ICS, and IoT environments.
Implement security measures to protect critical infrastructure from cyberattacks.
– Assess vulnerabilities in industrial control networks and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Conduct security audits and compliance checks based on industry standards
– Design and deploy security solutions tailored for industrial plants and OT environments.
Configure firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and network segmentation strategies.
– Develop and execute incident response plans for security breaches affecting industrial systems.
Conduct forensic analysis to identify root causes and prevent future attacks.
– Work closely with IT, engineering, and plant operations teams to align security policies with business needs.
Provide cybersecurity training for plant personnel to enhance security awareness.
5 Key Skills Required:
– Minimum of 8+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years focused on OT, ICS, or IoT environments.
– Hands-on experience with security tools like SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
– Strong understanding of NIST, IEC 62443, NERC CIP, or other industrial cybersecurity frameworks.
– Experience with network segmentation, VLANs, firewall configurations, and industrial protocol security..
– Ability to work with cross-functional teams, train personnel, and communicate security risks effectively.
