Systems Developer

Description: To work with relevant stakeholders and the Senior Business Analyst to design, program, implement and support appropriate IT solutions across the organisation.

Minimum Years Experience:  Years

5 Key Skills Required:

  • At least 3 years’ experience of working with systems.
  • Proficient in the development and support IT systems.
  • An awareness of regulatory requirements within a wealth management company..
  • Previous development experience with Avaloq ideally 3 years or more.
  • Good PL SQL Development experience. 

5 Areas of Responsibility:

  • To liaise with the Senior Business Analyst in relation to user requests for change and establish requirements and purpose for the request.
  • Work closely with the users who have requested the change to establish key details to enable further technical solutions to be created.
  • To undertake programming/parameterisation within a reasonable timescale taking in to account the user’s requirements and the capabilities of the system.
  • Documenting the technical processes undertaken to enable continuity within the team and where necessary.
  • Write test scripts as required for automated test products.
