Oracle APEX Developer

Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to support the development and deployment of custom applications as part of a new implementation initiative. This role requires hands-on expertise in Oracle APEX and a strong understanding of relational database design and PL/SQL development. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working collaboratively with business analysts and technical teams.

Minimum Years Experience: 5

5 Key Skills Required:

• 5+ years of hands-on Oracle APEX development experience (preferably version 20.x or higher)
• Strong PL/SQL and SQL skills for backend development and data handling
• Experience designing and developing secure, responsive web applications using Oracle APEX
• Ability to interpret functional/business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Familiarity with Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c) and performance tuning best practices

5 Areas of Responsibility:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications using Oracle APEX for an enterprise implementation
• Collaborate with stakeholders and functional leads to gather and understand requirements
• Write efficient PL/SQL code to support application logic, validation, and data integration
• Perform unit and integration testing, and provide support for user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Ensure applications meet security, usability, and performance standards
