Beschrijving: Our client is seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to support a high-impact initiative integrating Oracle Fusion ERP data into Azure SQL Database. This role requires deep technical expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure SQL, with a focus on building automated, scalable data pipelines and designing analytics-ready data models. Ideal for a mid-to-senior-level consultant who thrives in fast-paced, data-driven environments.

5 Belangrijke vaardigheden vereist:

• ADF Expertise: 3+ years hands-on experience building complex ADF pipelines, with solid knowledge of mapping data flows, REST/FTP integrations, and pipeline orchestration.
• Azure SQL / T-SQL: Strong skills in schema design, query tuning, and stored procedures; experience with deduplication, audit fields, and incremental loads.
• Data Modeling: Proven ability to model ERP data (normalized and dimensional) for reporting and analytics use cases.
• Security & Governance: Experience using Azure Key Vault, implementing RBAC, encryption practices, and general data security best practices.
• Preferred Knowledge: Familiarity with Oracle BICC extracts and Power BI data consumption patterns is a strong plus.

5 Verantwoordelijkheidsgebieden:

• Build ADF Pipelines: Design and develop automated ADF pipelines to extract, transform, and load Oracle Fusion ERP data from object storage or FTP sources into Azure SQL Database.
• Pipeline Architecture: Create reusable pipeline components—linked services, datasets, data flows—and implement parameterized pipeline logic with production-grade logging and error handling.
• Data Modeling: Design efficient downstream data models (staging and analytics-ready), ensuring optimal performance and compatibility with Power BI reporting.
• Azure SQL Optimization: Build and optimize database schemas, indexes, and stored procedures to support scalable reporting and analytics workloads.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with data analysts and BI developers to ensure the right data is delivered, structured, and maintained for consumption.
