Oracle EBS Finance Developer

Engagement Type: Technical Development

Description: Our Client, a Financial Services organisation, is looking for candidates with proven experience in Oracle EBS Finance Development.
They are looking for an experienced Oracle R12 Finance Developer to support the Technical Change Manager in delivering the development of our Client’s Corporate accounting platform and all other relevant sub modules.

Minimum Years Experience: 5 Years

5 Key Skills Required:

– Expert Technical knowledge of Oracle Financials R12 or ERP, with at least 5 years of experience supporting finance applications.
– Good knowledge of PL-SQL, Unix and sFTP concepts, and knowledge of specialist tools such as TOAD, DATALOAD, Core FTP, PuTTy, Workflow Builder and J-Developer.
– Advanced MS Excel and Access skills including development of full VBA routines, Macros, Functions, Pivot tables and ODBC data interfaces.
– Strong knowledge and experience in data models, mapping.
– Experience in testing, security, data governance, and audit compliance.

5 Areas of Responsibility:

– Support the Finance Systems Change Manager in a Technical capacity to document the process gaps, and provide expert technical support and troubleshooting assistance.
– Liaise with the IT Team, finance team, and finance business users to understand their requirements, define technical problems, coordinate system testing and user acceptance testing.
– Assist in writing the runbook and standard operating procedures, and help in defining the exception processes.
– Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to related finance applications and provide root cause analysis and corrective actions.
– Provide end-user support and training, and document user manuals and procedures.
