Senior Power BI Developer

Description: Our client is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, modeling, and visualization, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. This role requires collaboration with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to drive data-driven decision-making.

– Develop and Optimize Power BI Solutions – Design, build, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports while optimizing for performance and usability.

– Data Management & Security – Maintain Power BI Dataflows, Datasets, and Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure secure and efficient data access.

– Advanced Power BI Features – Leverage Power BI Premium capabilities, including paginated reports, AI features, and advanced data refresh options.

– Integration & Automation – Implement Power BI Deployment Pipelines for CI/CD, collaborate with Databricks for data transformation, and ensure seamless data integration.

– Stakeholder Collaboration & User Training – Work closely with business users to gather requirements, develop self-service BI solutions, and provide training on Power BI functionalities.

– Experience & Expertise – 5+ years in BI & data analytics, with a strong focus on Power BI, Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.

– Technical Skills – Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes; knowledge of Databricks and Delta tables is a plus.

– Data Governance & Security – Understanding of Unity Catalog, data governance frameworks, and secure reporting practices.

– Problem-Solving & Communication – Excellent analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

– Education & Certifications – Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field; Microsoft Data Analyst Associate certification is preferred.
